Any flight is stress for the skin and the body as a whole, and considering the dry air in the plane and the sudden pressure drops, this can also be a strength test. To ensure that flight does not affect your appearance, you should take care of your skin.

Before the flight:

  • a few days before the flight, refrain from the products that delay water in the body, including alcohol, heavy and fatty foods. Try to eat more vegetables, fruits, cereals and dairy products.
  • drink a lot of water, but without extremes, within normal limits. Because a large amount of drunk water can provoke swelling.
  • on the day of departure make a moisturizing mask, and before leaving the house apply a good moisturizer and serum.

  • to preserve the water balance, drink water in small portions, but every 20-30 minutes.

  • during a long flight use a moisturizing tissue mask. However, it is recommended to keep the mask exactly as much as indicated on the package, otherwise the opposite effect can be provoked.
  • dry air in the airplane is especially unfriendly to the skin around the eyes. To avoid dry feeling, use gel patches. But after using them it is good to apply moisturizing cream under the eyes.
  • use hand cream if needed.

After the flight:

  • clean your skin and remove the leftovers of cosmetics or moisturizers, dust and bacteria.
  • to restore the hydro balance, use an intensive moisturizing mask. Before it is applied, do an easy peeling with fruit acids.
  • use antibacterial agents if after the flight your skin is irritated.
