France
France is a country that has established itself as not a budget destination, especially if you go to Paris or the Cote d'Azur. However, you can always save money if you go on a trip in the low season (second half of autumn, winter after holidays, first half of spring). Among coastal cities, prices are lower in Marseille, Deauville, Cabourg, Trouville, Le Havre. In general, the entire Atlantic coast is much cheaper, but the weather here is a bit cooler.

Accommodation: the average price for a double room in the tourist destinations of France is about 100 euros. Of course, in Paris you will receive less for this amount than in the neighboring cities. To save even on housing in the city center, rent apartments (for example, through the Airbnb service). Traveling through the provinces, use the resource Gites de France - here you can find wonderful offers and live in village houses with the owners. Prices are several times lower, and the atmosphere is more colorful.

Ride: use public transport, a rented car can be very expensive (especially due to inaccurate driving and parking of other drivers). A trip in the subway costs 1.3 euros, and a travel ticket for 10 trips will cost 10 euros. Taxis costs 2.5 euros for boarding, about 1-2 euros for luggage and further down the counter - from 0.6 cents on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays 3 euros/km. It is most advantageous to travel by train between cities, especially if you have a Europass, Eurodomino, Inter-Rail card.

Food: markets and supermarkets are the best way to eat in France. Great wine, aromatic cheese and crispy baguette can be bought up to 5 euros. And don't let the price of wine scare you away - here, even for 2 euros you will buy a bottle of a simple, but excellent drink. The average bill per person in restaurants is about 20 euros, in Paris - closer to 30 euros. In order not to overpay in a bistro, stock up on fruit with you before your walk.

Entertainment: attend cathedrals and churches with a free entrance, even Notre Dame can be accessed for free. As for Paris, the Rodin Museum, the Georges Pompidou Center, the Orsay Museum, the Picasso Museum and many others are open to the public on the first Sunday of each month. The Louvre can also be accessed for free on the first Sunday of the month, but only from October 1 to March 31. The globalgreeternetwork.info service hosts volunteer excursions from locals, who know their city very well.

Germany
Prices in Germany are very dependent on the region. The lowest prices are in the eastern part, but Bavaria and Munich itself are among the most expensive destinations.

Accommodation: the cost of a double room starts from 50 euros, but you can stay in hostels for 10-15 euros in a shared room. Renting a home from the owners is also always profitable, especially if you are traveling in a big company.

Ride: traveling between cities is easier and faster by train, and you can also save well if you buy tickets in advance. As for public transport, one trip costs about 2 euros (for a short trip - 1.2 euros), and a full-day ticket costs about 6 euros. Weekly travel card costs 25 euros. On average, a taxi ride around the city will cost 10 euros.

Food: prices for lunch in a cafe start from 10 euros per person, especially if you take the menu of the day. Portions in Germany are large, so do not rush to choose several dishes at once. A cup of coffee costs about 2-3 euros, street food - about 2-4 euros. A good breakfast for two from the supermarket - a bun, yogurt, sausage, tomatoes - can be made for 5-7 euros. Evening trip to a restaurant for two will cost about 40 euros.

Entertainment: special tourist tickets are sold in every German city for about 9-10 euros. By purchasing such ticket, you can travel by public transport for free, get decent discounts on visiting attractions or not pay at all for entrance to museums and other tourist places.
Average daily budget: 80 Euros

Italy
Italy is various and offers tourists rest for every taste and budget. The northern part of Italy is traditionally more expensive, but the south generously pleases budget travellers. In the summer, the sea coasts are filled with tourists and housing prices are rising decently, but in the off-season traveling around the country is the most profitable.

Accommodation: in large cities, the cost of a double room starts from 80 euros, and in resort cities sometimes even from 100 euros. In small towns, the simplest rooms are rented from 40 euros per day, and they are often more pleasant to stay in. Renting an apartment can reduce your expenses by half, but there is an important warning here: find out initially whether the landlord speaks English. The thing is that tourists in Italy often complain that they are not understood. When traveling around cities, choose small Bed & Breakfast hotels - they are often located in the city center  and cost a little money.

Ride: traveling around Italy by train is quite accessible, except for too long crossings. Ride in a public transport starts from 1.5 euros per trip.

Food: always look for “family” trattoria - those where the owner himself may be the waiter and cook. In such places, prices are usually lower, the food tastes better, and as a bonus, they also serve free snacks. It is possible to have dinner at such a cafe for 10-15 euros per person, visiting a restaurant will cost 2 times more. Apart from Venice, where you will not find coffee cheaper than 7 euros, in Italy you can drink flavored cappuccino for 1.5-2 euros even in the most tourist cafes. As for food from the supermarket, for 7-10 euros you can collect a rich table for two (cheese, sausage, ciabatta, tomatoes, wine).

Entertainment: if you want to explore as many sights as possible and save - buy a city tourist card. Free tours (sometimes with tips around 3 euros) are often held, but they need to be booked in advance and you have to speak English,  at least.
