Austria
Regardless of which part of Austria you are going to, prices will stay the same almost everywhere. The only exception is the ski resorts. In high season, some hotels and restaurants raise prices by 2-3 times.
Accommodation: we don't recommend to look for place to stay in the center of Vienna. The transport system of the capital is well developed and it is possible to get to the main sights from the neighboring districts in 15-20 minutes. You will save a lot, even taking into account the cost of ride,. Good apartments can be found for 40-50 euros per day, hotel rooms will automatically be 50% more expensive. If you really want to live in the center of the city, rent rooms in the apartments of local residents.
Ride: it is very convenient to travel Vienna by subway. A single ticket costs 2.4 euros, a travel card - 8 euros per day, and 17.1 euros - for 3 days. Landing in a taxi will cost 3.8 euros, and for each kilometer you can be charged from 1.05 euros to 1.4 euros.
Food: traditional apple strudel with coffee will cost about 5-6 euros in an ordinary cafe, and the farther away from the tourist places you will be, the more pleasant the prices will become. You can try dishes of national cuisine on the streets of the Austrian cities. For example, a hearty portion of Vienna sausages will cost around 5 euros per person. Dinner in a restaurant for a very hungry tourist will cost about 20-25 euros. If your appetites are not too large, you can easily order a serving of schnitzel or another main course for two. In order not to spend money in cafes and restaurants on plain water, ask the waiter for a free Leitungswasser - tap water, which is usually drunk by locals.
Entertainment: since visiting sights in Vienna is quite expensive, feel free to look for opportunities to save. For example, every Thursday from 6 to 10 pm you can visit the Museum of Applied Arts free of charge, and every first Sunday of the month you can visit the Museum of Vienna and the Clock Museum for free.
You can buy a standing ticket to the famous Vienna Opera for 3-7 euros 40 minutes before the start of the performance. Charity concerts and performances are very often held in local parks.
Average daily budget: 90 euros
Belgium
Belgium is a rather “expensive” country, so any savings on the trip will be very useful. Note that the main items of expenditure here will be for accommodation and food.
Accommodation: the night in the hostel will cost about 20 euros per person, the prices for a double room with breakfast in 3* hotel start from 60 euros, and in a 4* hotel - from 100 euros. If you stay in the suburbs, you can rent a room in a private house for 15-25 euros. Note that for every overnight stay in Brussels you will have to pay a city tax of 4.75 euros per person.
Ride: if you plan to use public transport, buy tickets for 10 trips, because a one-time ticket will cost 2.5 euros. Another option is a ticket for several days with an unlimited number of trips. Using these opportunities, you can save almost half. Keep in mind, that on weekends train tickets are 50% cheaper, when buying a return ticket. By the way, there are always additional discounts in Belgium for young people who are less than 26 years old.
Food: The average check for one person in the most restaurants in Belgium will be about 20 euros. To save on food, go to the Lidl or Aldi supermarkets, where even for 3-5 euros you can collect a good lunch. The Hema chain sells snacks and Belgian waffles at very nice prices. To try rare varieties of bottled beer, go to special shops, and the farther from the center, the better. For example, in the center of the city a bottle of such beer can cost 4 euros, and a few blocks away - 2.5 euros. People in Belgium drink tap water, so always carry an empty bottle with you to save on water. You can fill it in numerous urban drinking fountains.
Entertainment: if you want to explore Brussels and plan on going through museums, be sure to purchase the Brussels Card - the cost of this card is less than the fee for visiting 4 museums (a 24-hour card is 24 euros, 48 hours is 32 euros, 72 hours is 39 euros). In addition, the card gives discounts in souvenir shops at museums, free drinks in some restaurants and bars. You can try the best Belgian chocolate for free at the NeuHaus factory, which is located on the outskirts of Brussels.

Netherlands
When traveling to the Netherlands, keep in mind that Amsterdam is the most expensive city in the country. If you rent a car or travel by car, stop for the night in small towns near megalopolises.
Accommodation: even a 3* hotel room will cost about 90-100 euros per day in Amsterdam. In order not to splurge on housing, rent rooms or apartments away from the center. Prices for hotel rooms are much more tolerable in small towns. If you really want to live in the very center of a big city, consider the option with hostels where you can spend the night for 30-35 euros in a common room.
Ride: coming to Amsterdam, do not rush to look for a favorable offer for travel - in this city you are unlikely to travel in public transport a lot. It is best to rent a bike. The rental price is about 6.5 euros per day. If you are traveling around the country, find out about promotions and discounts at the train station ticket office or on the website of the railway. Often, a day pass for the train can be bought for 14-18 euros which gives you an opportunity to travel throughout the Netherlands. When traveling by a group of 10 people (for example, with friends) it is advantageous to purchase a ticket online - in this case, the cost of a trip is only 7.5 euro.
Food: In order not to splurge on restaurants in Holland, choose self-service cafes, and do not hesitate to buy food in supermarkets. For example, large stores like Albert Heijn at the end of the day make discounts on sliced ham and cheese, from 30 to 50%. If you do not want to eat sandwiches all the time or spend time in the kitchen, go to the departments of ready meals. For example, a ready-made chicken salad costs around 3 euros per serving, a huge sushi box costs 7.5 euros, and various ready-made side dishes can be snipped off for 1 euro. Also, every morning from 9.00 to 10.00 you can have breakfast in Hema stores for only 2 euros!
Entertainment: Since the entrance to the tourist places of Amsterdam costs a lot of money, take advantage of free entertainment. For example, visit the public library of Amsterdam - with unusual architecture, free reading room and a cozy terrace with stunning views of Amsterdam. Use the free ferry to travel from one bank of the river to the other and stroll through the residential areas of the city. Visit the Albert Cuypmarkt shopping market, where everyone is allowed to taste delicious treats, and then take a stroll through the famous and very picturesque Vondelpark. And if you decide to visit the places where you need a ticket, always buy it online - it is the most profitable.
