1. Palace of Vaux-le-Vicomte

It was the first building in the city, which was built in the Gothic style. The basilica itself is recognizable for its unusually huge stained glass windows. By the way, famous names also speak about the significance of this place: Saint Dionysius (patron of France), Catherine de Medici, Dagobert and others are buried here.

5. Abrevoire Street

Montmartre is a hill in the northern part of Paris, where historically reigns a kind of bohemian atmosphere. To wander through the quiet streets of Montmartre is a special pleasure. On Abrevoire Street you will find ancient mansions, cobbled pavements, and ivy-covered walls. At the end of the picturesque street there are a tiny square and a very cozy park.

6. Crémieux Street

A small quiet street Crémieux stretches only for 144 meters in length, but it entirely consists of houses painted in different colors, not only in soothing pastel shades but also in the brightest and most colorful. Although Crémieux is located near the Place de la Bastille, it is almost always quiet here, as if it is not in Paris. Pedestrians stop to see the distinctive details of each house and admire the pots of plants, which are settled along the Crémieux.

7. Saint-Paul Village

In the Marais area there is a place that has preserved the medieval echoes of Paris - the village of Saint-Paul. The ancient buildings and charm of the past are preserved there and the local creative bohemia settles all the free corners of Saint-Paul. On the territory of the village there are various antique shops, art shops, cafes and swap meet on weekends.

8. La Pagode Cinema

The famous cinema of the 7th district is probably the most beautiful in the whole city. The walls of the cinema itself are hung with red silk in the Japanese style, decorated with gilded lamps in the shape of elephants and dragons, and the ceiling is painted with unusual images. In the courtyard of the cinema thereis a small Asian garden.

9. Chapelle Church

Sainte Chapelle is often called the most beautiful church in Paris, however there are only few tourists here. The thing is the church itself hid behind the Palace of Justice, and the entrance to the chapel lies only through the strict security checkpoint. Getting inside, each visitor is delighted with the incredibly large stained-glass windows, through which light enters the church, and lush glass mosaics of different colors.

10. Alley Plantée

Walking from the Place de la Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes, certainly follow the Plantée alley. This alley is the most original way to explore the sights along the road to the Bastille. The alley is decorated with unusual plants, flowers, and street art.
